Since February 2026, Georgianum Lingen Grammar School has been part of the ‘Schule:Global’ initiative run by AJA (Working Group for Non-Profit Youth Exchange). By displaying the Schule:Global seal, we are sending a clear signal in support of democracy education, intercultural learning and international cooperation. Our aim is to strengthen our pupils’ global competence and to guide them in becoming open-minded, responsible individuals.
We wish to embed global issues such as human rights, diversity, sustainability and social responsibility even more firmly in our lessons and school life. International exchanges, project-based learning and a conscious engagement with democratic values are to be a permanent feature of our school’s development. In this way, we foster empathy, the ability to engage in dialogue and respectful coexistence within a diverse, open school community.
