On 3 March 2026, members of the Lions Club thanked art teacher Andrea Cyris on the occasion of her retirement. Former club president Anja Rosemeyer (2021/22) presented her with a heartfelt thank you on behalf of the club for her dedication during the early stages of the Lions Advent calendar.
Ms Cyris organised two art competitions to select two exceptionally appealing calendar designs (2021 and 2023). The competition for the 2026/27 Lions year is currently being run by Teresa Silies at Georgianum Grammar School. The prize-giving ceremony is scheduled for 22 May 2026.
